Sanctuary Live with the Travis Larson Band & Quinten Hope Band
10/13/2017 @ 8:00 PM - 11:30 PM
The Guitar Sanctuary presents “Sanctuary Live”, a special showcase for local artists in the DFW area, on Friday October 13th at 8pm at The Sanctuary Music & Events
This month’s Sanctuary Live features one special national band, the Travis Larson Band, who have graced our stage before when opening for The Aristocrats, and one special local band with long standing ties to The Guitar Sanctuary, the Quinten Hope Band.
VIP Tables (including seating for 4) at the front of the stage are $100
Downstairs seats on the main floor are $20
General Admission (Standing Room Only) tickets are just $10
Standard bar and food service will be available from our friends at Sterling Events and Catering.
Comprised of Travis Larson (guitar), Jennifer Young (bass), and Dale Moon (drums), The Travis Larson Band’s complicated phrasing, impossible timing, and seamless flow cause some to suspect that the band must surely operate from only one, albeit enormous, brain.
With seven studio albums and three full-length performance DVDs, the award-winning Travis Larson Band is firmly rooted as one of instrumental music’s premiere acts, having worked on record with Steve Lukather (Toto), Victor Wooten (Bela Fleck), Dave LaRue (Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Dixie Dregs), Vinx (Sting, Herbie Hancock).
Quinten Hope has wowed audiences across the nation, from the historical Bitter End Club in NYC to the famous Granada Theater in Dallas. Quinten studied at the legendary University of North Texas School of Music, which led to his first CD (Aspects of the Soul). While at the School of Music, Quinten performed with the famous UNT Lab Band and wrote compositions that are still performed today. It was Quinten’s second CD (Start of a New Day) that led to a friendship with Rock-N-Roll Hall-of-Famer and Grammy winner Will Lee along with Dan Wojciechowski and Bradley Knight. All three heavy hitters returned to record Quinten’s critically acclaimed third CD (Reunion), which is his most personal to date.
Quinten is currently working on his next project, due for release in 2018. It will feature friends and talents of Will Lee, Oz Noy, Monte Montgomery, Rob Arthur, Dan Wojciechowski, Sean McCurley and Milo Deering.
