Join us Monday evenings with Bree Vandergriff at Epiphysis! Bree will incorporate both Hatha and Vinyasa forms of flow. Please grab your friends and come join us for one hour of bliss with Bree! All levels welcome – This class is a mixture of vinyasa and hatha yoga which connects movement with the breath holding some poses for 2-6 breaths (sometimes longer) and each pose flows from the next.
The first half of the class is the heat building sequence emphasizing the use of core for warrior and deep lunges as well as preparing for balancing poses. The last half of the class is focused on calming the body and preparing for deeper stretches still using control of the breath and focus.
Each class the instructor will provide modifications for the poses making this class suitable for all levels and all students, so as to be mindful of the body and never pushing past anything that doesn’t serve us. The use of props such as blocks or straps are often used in this class.
