Grayson College Golf Course
Grayson College Golf Course is permanently closed
After losing money for several years, the board of directors of Grayson College permanently closed the golf course in December of 2015.
Only a few minutes from Lake Texoma, Grayson College Golf Course offers an inexpensive and challenging experience for all levels of golfers. The course’s front nine was designed by Joe Finger. The back nine is shorter and requires more accurate shot placement in order to hit its small greens. The wind is usually a factor here, so selecting the proper club to compensate for the wind’s velocity and direction is an important part of the game.
The course is a par 72 with two tee levels, 6,633 yds from the black tees, 6,220 yds from the blue tees. Green fees and cart rentals are quite inexpensive.
