Run 4 Shelter 5K, Fun Run & Virtual RUn

Grayson County Shelter is a non-profit homeless shelter for displaced families and singles that serves Grayson and surrounding counties in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. All services are provided free of charge to our clients. Please open your hearts in support of the services offered at the Grayson County Shelter. Your donation can be a tremendous help to give families and individuals a chance to become self-sufficient once again.

The Grayson County Shelter is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Registration Fees:

Includes a t-shirt ($20 groups of 10 or more), email sjhuth@cableone.net), Must be signed up by Wed, 5-25 to be guaranteed a shirt.

Fun Run
Includes a finisher medal. No t-shirt
Feb 8 – Jun 15 $15.00

Virtual Run
Includes a t-shirt – must be registered by day of actual event, 6-16, honor-system reporting, $25.00

5K Awards:

Overall Male and Female

Age Group Awards will be for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in the following categories: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+ (Male & Female)


There will be no early packet pick-up. All T-Shirts and race materials will be available early Saturday morning at the event site — Waterloo Lake Park in Denison.

T-Shirts are only GUARANTEED to all those who registered by Friday, May 25, 2018.

T-Shirts will be on a first-come, first serve basis on race day and may not be available in all sizes or at all.


This is a great opportunity to gain community exposure and help ensure the success of our event – we are looking for Event Sponsors. Choose from the following Tier Levels.

Platinum – $1,000 (receives four 5K entries)
Gold – $500 (receives three 5K entries)
Silver – $250 (receives two 5k entries)
Bronze – $100 (receives one 5K entry)
