Corps of Engineer Campgrounds close due to flooding
October 15, 2018 – Due to flooding, limited camping is available at Platter Flats, Johnson Creek, Caney Creek, & Juniper West. Caney Creek campsites will probably close by the end of day on Oct 16, 2018.
All other Corp of Engineer camping facilities are closed. All Corps of Engineer managed boat launch locations are closed.
Caney Creek Campgrounds is a Corps of Engineers campground located on the north side of Lake Texoma just south of Kingston, Oklahoma. The campground has 41 campsites with electrical and water hookups and 10 primitive tent sites without hookups.

Lakeside Campgrounds are mostly along the shoreline of Lake Texoma. Operated by the Corps of Engineers located on the eastern side of Lake Texoma, Lakeside is a large campground with 137 tent and RV sites.
