Whitesboro Christmas Parade – It a Hot cocoa Christmas

A parade, tree lighting ceremony, treats and pictures with Santa

All families, businesses, and organizations are invited to enter a vehicle in the KWB “It’s a Hot Cocoa Christmas” Parade on Friday, December 5th.  All vehicles are welcome.  Registration is FREE!

Decorations needn’t be complicated.  Battery-operated lights, a festive wreath, or even some shiny garland can bring the holiday spirit to our community.  Join us for a fun evening making happy memories.  Decorated horses are allowed.

• 5:00 pm Christmas music
• 5:30 pm free horse-drawn carriage rides will begin
• 6:00 pm Lighting of the downtown Christmas tree, whose lights are synchronized with music.
• 6:30 pm Christmas parade
• 7:00 pm (after parade) Santa Clause will visit with area children and hear all about their holiday wishes.  Be sure to bring your cameras for some precious photo opportunities
• 7:30 pm a massive free gift drawing will take place inside Cook’s Main Stage (located behind Cook’s Main Street Mercantile).  Guests can win items ranging from new toys and sports equipment to home decor.

A live nativity scene will take place at the corner of Center and Main Streets.

Throughout the evening, downtown stores will be open late to welcome holiday shoppers and vendors will be giving out treats like hot chocolate, cookies, and popcorn.  Everyone in attendance gets a ticket for door prize giveaways.

Ther’s nothing quite like the holidays in a small town, so be sure to mark your calendar and join in the fun.
