The mission of the United Methodist denomination is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We have been cultivating disciples here in the heart of Sherman, Texas for over 150 years. It is God’s grace that calls us into relationship, calls us to community in a congregation of Christ’s Church. It is God’s grace that puts us in a right relationship with God, through the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. And it is God’s grace that works in and through each of us, empowering us to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world.
