Lake Texoma Association (LTA) was incorporated in the Sate of Oklahoma in 1954 with the mission to protect and preserve Lake Texoma and the surrounding region, as well as promote the entire Texoma region in Oklahoma and Texas. LTA works closely with the Corps of Engineers, environmental, wildlife and educational entities, and assist in securing funds to restore Lake Texoma recreational areas.
