Meet the First President!

Learn the history of the base, its roots in the Texoma area, find out more about the creation of the museum, and how it is tied to local and world events. The event is aimed at all ages, but will have discussions of war so parental discretion is advised.

Downtown Denison’s History in the Hall Road Show brings the past to life through engaging storytelling, music, and reenactments hosted at unique local venues throughout the city. This traveling history series offers entertaining and educational programs focused on Denison’s rich heritage, the legacy of Doc Holliday, and— in celebration of America 250 — the broader historical stories of Grayson County and the Texoma region.
By blending historical interpretation with local gathering spaces, History in the Hall creates meaningful connections between Denison’s past and present, inviting residents to experience history in an approachable, engaging, and fun way.
