Sherman Museum

Sherman Museum will hold the 12th Annual Evening of Texana on November 5, 2015 at 6:30 pm in the museum’s downstairs community room. The public is invited to attend and admission is FREE. Donations will be accepted.

“Evening of Texana” celebrates our Texas culture. The readings are chock-full of the wit and wisdom of the Lone Star State. It’s a popular event, so I recommend you get here early for the best seat,” stated Executive Director Dan Steelman. The annual celebration of Texas culture features refreshments and spirits with a Texas flavor, and humorous selections from three Texas authors. Ginger Nye, John West and Margie Morris will perform the readings. Some of the material may not be appropriate for younger audiences.

For more information call the museum at 903-893-7623. The Sherman Museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for seniors, $2.00 for students, FREE for children 5 and under and FREE for museum members.
