Lake Texoma is a mecca for anyone who loves the great outdoors! What better way to experience the beauty and natural surroundings than taking a hike along rugged ridges, along sandy shorelines, across prairie land, through the woods, or winding trails.
Over two miles of trails within the park connect to an additional 10 miles of trails planned within the Gateway Village development along with future regional trail connections to other parts of the city.
Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge Hiking Trails is a great trail for bird watching, photography. Plenty of wildlife, natural woods and wetlands. There are three trails in the refuge from .17 miles to 25 miles, thru native forest, prairie and grasslands, winding by Dick's pond and the Cumberland Pool.
