Butterfield Stage Players – Gainesville Texas
Butterfield Stage Players has been entertaining audiences for over 30 year. A not for profit, community theater, Butterfield Stage Players was formed in 1970 when a few of the Cooke county resident (namely Roger Boyce, Tom Carson and Monica Hess) decided to embark on the endeavor of creating a community theater. Butterfield has evolved from a small playhouse into an organization known for providing quality entertainment. Butterfield is also a foundation for the arts in Cooke County. Located in the historic former Carnegie Library, with theater seats repurposed from the Cooke county Courthouse, patrons are provided with a unique experience.
Butterfield Youth Theatre has theater classes for ages 5 – 13 each fall. Butterfield is a wonderful place for childre and young actors of all ages and experiences to showcase their talents.
