In 1884 the building in which the Morton Museum is housed was a combination city hall, fire station and jail and contains a partial 187's log cabin. Exhibits cover topics such as the Civil War, baseball, outlaws, World War II and the county's sesquicentennial. A staff person is available, by appointment, to aid individuals in genealogy research.
