Creative Arts Center in Bonham Texas
Creative Arts Center provides a venue where young artists and performers explore, create, display and teach their craft, and where people of all ages learn and experience art.
The Creative Arts Center is a project of the Fannin Community Foundation, Inc., a public, non-profit 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to creating, implementing, and maintaining educational, social, cultural, and recreational programs based on traditional values, which benefit children, youth, adults, and senior citizens.
ART
Wednesdays, 4 PM, Art in the Afternoon, for kids at least age 6. Class is taught by Katherine Kluger and will include different media and projects of all types. $32/month.
THEATER
The Kidz Krew Performing Arts Program puts on several workshops and performances through out the year. All performances are in the Bonham Civic Center (the old Armory located on the Trade Days property.)

For grown-ups too!
Adult Drawing, Wednesdays, 1:30 – 3:30 taught by Katherine Kluger. This class explores a variety of techniques and skills and is for adults at the beginner/intermediate level.
Spinning and Weaving, Thursday 3:30-4:30. Class is taught by Freda Riley and will cover both arts. There is a limit to class size, so call the arts center to schedule your lesson. $25/per hour.
Knitting, scheduled usually on Tuesdays and/or Friday. $20/lesson for one a week. $35 per week for two lessons and $120/month for twice a week for a month. Call to schedule.
Party on the Town
Have you ever wanted to make a collage, paint or draw but don’t know where to start? Do you like getting together with friends after work to unwind? Have you ever combined the two ideas? That’s where art parties come in. The Creative Arts Center now hosts adult art parties at 7 PM on Wednesdays, usually once a month.
Tues – Friday: 10:00 am until 5:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am until 1:00 pm
