Highway 289 from Dallas to Pottsboro is designated as a North Texas Biking Trails route and the shoulders are extra wide for bikers safety. Each year Texoma is host for the Kiwanis Club Race, the Red River Rally. This cycling race has challenges for all levels of experience.
