The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages 15 Lake Texoma campgrounds offering campsites for primitive tent camping and RV sites with electric and water hookups. In addition there are campsites available at many marinas and private RV Resorts.
Many of the Corps of Engineer managed campgrounds close during the winter season on October 1st and re-open April 1st of the following year. Campgrounds that remain open are first come, first served with limited or no access to amenities. Click here for a list of those camping facilities that stay open during the winter season.
Lake Texoma RV Resort is located close to Highport Marina and Tanglewood Golf Course in Pottsboro Texas. There are level concrete RV spaces measuring 20 x 80’ that are all American Disabilities Association (ADA) compliant. The sites have water and sewer hook-ups with 20-30 and 50-amp service, high speed internet and Direct TV. Visitors can also enjoy their own private picnic table and gas grill at their site.
Lakeside Campgrounds are mostly along the shoreline of Lake Texoma. Operated by the Corps of Engineers located on the eastern side of Lake Texoma, Lakeside is a large campground with 137 tent and RV sites.
